Doc Martin is a long-running and light-hearted cult TV drama set in a contemporary Cornish fishing village and starring Martin Clunes (Men Behaving Badly) as the local doctor with no bedside manner and a phobia of blood. It enjoyed 9 seasons overall and brings visitors from all over the world to see the cottages and shops of the village and the surrounding countryside.
Doc Martin’s fictional village of Port Wenn is set in and around the picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac which is situated on the North Coast of Cornwall. Touring the village to see all the major filming sites is easily done on a one day tour for which we charge a flat fee of £600 for up to four guests or £162 per head for groups of between 5-8. Group rates for larger parties are quoted on request, and there are options for us to engage a local Doc Martin specialist to host your party if they are just stopping for a short visit.
We recommend potentially blending a half-day visit to Port Isaac with a half day visit to King Arthur’s birthplace and Merlin’s Cave at Tintagel (not for those with restricted mobility) or alternatively going on to Padstow. The popular north coast fishing town which is famous the world over for its food and celebrity chefs. We work with three different Michelin starred chefs to bring you the finest accommodation and food experiences across Port Isaac and Padstow so this is a wonderful starting point for “foodies” and included are two other world class vineyards to enjoy as well as local award winning gin distilleries.
